MEAL Officer

Project: Admin

Location: Vientiane Capital

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) has been registered as an independent International INGO in Lao PDR since 1992 with a core focus to assist the most vulnerable by alleviating poverty through community driven development projects. ADRA Laos is part of the ADRA Network which has 110 offices worldwide and does not discriminate with regards to ethnicity, gender, political or religious affiliation.

ADRA is seeking to recruit a dynamic and capable Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer to be an essential member of our Vientiane team and who will support a variety of programmatic and administrative roles. This will include MEAL initiatives, government relations, contributing to new project designs, and administrative and translation services and functions.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Degree in social science, project management or relevant field of study, Master desirable
  • Demonstrated professional experience and knowledge of monitoring, evaluation and learning systems, essential.
  • Demonstrated experience of 5 years implementing international development programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in report writing, government relations, and translation.
  • Proven technical expertise and skills in sectorial areas such as agriculture, health/nutrition, livelihoods, or emergency management.
  • Proven skills in analyzing and comparing data and problem solving.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in English and Lao.
  • Proficient in MS office software programs and MEL systems.
