Since end of September 2019 until beginning of November 2019 was a pleasure time for ADRA Laos to host 3 volunteer groups from different countries, Australia, Canada and Korea.
On 28 October to 05 November 2019, ADRA Laos had host the last volunteer group of 2019, ADRA Korea volunteers under the project: Saengsouly Play and Learn Project at Saengsouly School, Dongkhamxarng Village, Hartxayfong District, Vientaine Capital. The project was aimed to students in Saengsouly School have a nice playground to play and learn.
The eight-day trip, composed of two parts—project work and sightseeing.
The team of 7 people spent four days working tirelessly with the school. Their tasks include:
- Transporting and lay cement
- Cleaning and painting playground walls
- Cleaning tires and painting them
- Painting kindergarten exterior walls
They also distributed flipflops, story book and sport equipment for the school. The kids are really happy with this!
After the project work, the team visited the famous places in Vientiane, did fun activities and immersed in the beautify of Vang Vieng, and visited World Heritage City, Luangprabang.
